What is causing these 'burns'?

She seems perfectly happy otherwise, but this keeps cropping up and I don't know what's causing it. I cut off 5 last week that were way more damaged, same thing but it had consumed most of the leaves almost to the stem. I don't THINK it's getting physically damaged? Definitely not to my knowledge. Ignore the hard water spots, she's had a bath since.

Hiya ๐Ÿ‘‹ that looks like aerial blight I'm afraid, it's a fungal infection that's REALLY common in peace lilies! They don't really like wet leaves (a bit like Begonia!) and the infection aids through contact moisture in this way.

You'll need to get yourself a good fungicide spray and treat both the leaves and the soil to kill the infection.

Remove any damaged leaves right away to stop it spreading and... I don't usually see repotting a sick plant, but in this case I think it might help! Then douse her as per the instructions on your chose fungicide. I'm in the UK so not sure what Greggers are using over there to best treat this kinda thing (though you generally can't go with with a copper fungicide)...
#theamigos #bruchataudreys could anyone pitch in and help Azstarael with a recommendation for a good fungicide in the USA? Xx
@JenniB81 agreed. But I suggest give it a bath first to expose all the leaf to treatment.
Great tip Gabby @Gabiblocatelli ๐Ÿฅฐ I'll add that my wee planty book of wisdom! ๐Ÿ’š Xx
@JenniB81 thank you so much for identifying this and helping save her ๐Ÿ˜ญ It had spread even more than I thought, closer inspection showed it creeping in on most of the plant but! A daily mist of diluted apple cider vinegar this last week stopped it dead and I haven't see any new spots crop up. Just a fun fact about natural antifungals! I googled 'DIY antifungal' and that was the first result- it's so cool that a kitchen staple is also good for fending off horrible infections!
That's fab! And well worth putting in my book (I have about 5 litres of ACV in the house at the moment! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฃ) ๐Ÿ‘

Cinnamon is another great natural fungicide! I use it to ward of fungus gnats by sprinkling it on soil that's not drying quick enough to kill the fungus that the gnats eat

Also bicarb, while not anti fungal, is the basis for a homemade spray that helped me get rid of brown spot on a rescue Monstera last year (and it will also kill beasties if you want to keep the chemicals to a minimum! ๐Ÿ’š)

I'm so glad she recovering so quickly! ๐Ÿฅฐ You've just made my morning honey thank you for the update!! Xx
