@BigWorm46 Hi Laurie! Iβm so glad I read this! I have the same problem in one of mine that I need to deal with today as well! Thanks for the reminder! I take the plant outside (with gloves on!) and pull it out of the pot. Shake as much of the dirt and ants off as you can get then rinse the roots off really well. Them repot it in fresh soil! That is what I am going to do right now! Thanks again and good luck!πͺ΄πΌ
Are they actual ants, and not a different pest? If they are just ants, get Terro liquid ant bait traps (they are borax and sugar) and set one on top of the plant soil or next to it. I lived somewhere with a horror-movie-level invasive ant problem and the Terro traps are magic. They should kill the first wave of ants within 3 days, and then you may see another wave of them within the next 10 days from newly hatched ants⦠so just leave the trap out for about 3 weeks and your problem will likely be gone for good.
