Desert Rose Care

Hey ya’ll I’m waving my white flag i’ve had this desert rose for three years now and the beginning of this year I finally got her into conditions that didn’t cause her to lose her leaves and she seems to be doing okay but i’d love to know if there’s more I could be doing for her! I feel so bad 😭 #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #help #DesertRosePlant
2ft to light, indirect

She looks really good! She also looks pretty young, I have several grown from seed that are around that size and they are 2 years old. Don’t panic if she starts dropping leaves again soon, it is normal in late fall/ winter.

Come spring when she starts getting even more leaves again, be sure to fertilize with a bloom booster if you want to encourage flowering 🌺.

If she is very young she may not bloom yet. It can take several years unless they have ideal conditions.

She is beautiful, you should be very proud!

She looks really good I've had my baby desert rose only a short time she's grown a few leaves already Hope I can keep her happy
@Chevysgirl11 Oh my gosh yours is so pretty! I got my desert rose when I first became a plant parent so if she could survive that massacre i’m sure you’ll do an extra amazing job taking care of her πŸ₯°πŸ₯°
She looks great Leila, it’s just going dormant for the fall/winter. She will come back in the spring ready to go! Just remember to stop watering during dormancy. (Watering wakes them up and they start their growing process like it’s springtime).
