Halloween plant haul!!

I haven’t really got any plans this Halloween, so why not get some new plants?!

First up I found this gorgeous small leaf spiderwort and I fell in love. It’s one of those plants where I’ve been admiring them online for a while, but only just now have managed to get one! There were some more pinky ones there, but they all seemed to have some sort of browning on the leaves and potentially some root infection, and this one looked healthiest so I went with him (don’t worry, I will thorough check the roots when I repot)

Secondly, there’s this little bad boy. I’ve never seen a cactus with such vibrant needles, and I just had to have him tbh. Tiny but feisty ✨

And finally, the holy trinity, three polka dot plants in one pot. These little beauties have been on my wish list for a while, and I’m so glad that not only did I manage to get one, but I got three for the price of one!!

I can’t wait to see how these beauties grow and hopefully I do them justice!!

Congratulations on your new plants! I have a Small Leaf Spiderwort also, mines is green with white stripes. The other Spiderworts, you saw didn’t have root rot, their leaves are very delicate. Please be careful the slightest little bump or too much touching on the leaves, will cause it to bruise ( browning). If you have gloves, that would worked. I bottom watered mine, so I don’t have to handle it too much. Here is my β€œ Scarlett”. οΏΌοΏΌ
Good for you! We all need treats! 🍬🌱πŸͺ΄
@SweetAzurebluet ahh I see, well that could be why most of them had some sort of browning. Thanks for letting me know, and your darling looks gorgeous!!

@ForestTherapy thank you! And I agree. There’s nothing better than bringing a new plant home and learning how to care for it!
