Too much sunlight?
Does this seem to be getting too much sunlight? It's away from all windows at least 10 ft away and against a piece of furniture.

I have a chinese evergreen that was on the floor 7 ft from my front door. Plenty warm, until the door opened and a gew leaves would get a cold splash of air on the tips. They turned white. Couldnt figure it out so rotated the plant and thay side did the same. So i put it in a corner with no drafts and that seamed to fix it
