Blue marks on my red geraniums??

Hi all 🩷! I'm posting a question here again, this time regarding my geraniums. They’re blooming, and some of them have already shown flowers. My concern is that they are showing blue dots on the petals... I have had red geraniums at home since I was a baby, and I have never seen these blue marks before 😰. Is it normal? Can someone tell me what’s going on? πŸ™πŸ»

I think it's natural to have a little bit of discoloration every once in a while.οΏΌ I don't think it affects the plant in a negative way. (:

Is there a chance anything dripped on them? Like water with fertilizer?

I grew up with red geraniums as well and while I don't remember this happening I can't say for sure. It looks more like something happened to it rather than something is wrong to me, if that makes sense.

I work in a plant nursery and they do this all the time. Not all of them do it but a lot do. Nothing to worry about.
