I’m having the same issue! I’m narrowing it down to the tap water. Next time I water I’m going to leave the water out for 24/48 hrs and see if that helps.
I’ll try that, I can’t remember if I used filtered water or not last time
Hello! Have you checked the roots? I ask bc it may be root bound & ready for a repot!
Its just lack of humidity in the air...
this happened to my mom's plant. Turned out it just needed fertilizer
@shopofhorrors This plant happens to sit right next to my humidifier, I’ll try upping the setting
Oh lol. Well as the season is changing too. It could also be a watering issue. I've noticed mine likes to be bottom water for 15 mins ever 3 days to be happy.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
@SavvyKalanchoe Hi Mary, I find often spider plants are not put in the best soil mix for them and that can cause problems for them. I see your soil is said to be β€œregular”. So I will add a link below as I also think your plant could be reported and it would give you a good opportunity to check the root system and also if potentially there are baby plants you can tease out and pot elsewhere (that was my experience at one stage).
This can obviously have an influence on your watering of them as well. Hope this helps. I prefer to use distilled water with my spider plant although they seem to do well and have some tolerance to higher mineral water.
