Muhly grass is susceptible to infestations of Muhly Grass Mealybug which
are slightly less than 1/8 inch long, gray, and covered with short, dense, white fluff as well as numerous slender white filaments some of which are twice as long as the body. They appear as small white, cottony spots deep in the foliage of the plant. Check if thats what u have on ur plants.👀
Reducing feeding and watering may sometimes prevent mealybugs since it reduces nitrogen levels and hardens a plant's growth. Wiping foliage regularly with a leaf shine solution containing neem oil.👍🏼

Related to @noemijane1 that is very likely to be Muhly Grass Mealybug. Purchase some leaf shine oil - preferably with some neem oil - and wipe it on your grass! ✌️
