What are these black spots on my #GoldenPothos?
The newest leaves on my pothos are getting these black/brown spots. The rest of the leaves from before look healthy.

How often are you watering him? Almost every time my pathos acts up is a watering issue.

Beyond that it could be that he has pests or is sick ๐Ÿ˜”

Maybe adjust watering and/or repot him?
@MeekKiwifruit I water him once a week. There are fungus gnats but not a lot. I donโ€™t see any other pests.

Whatโ€™s confusing me is that itโ€™s only the newest leaves on the plant that this appearing. The rest of the plant is green and healthy. Would a watering or pest issue show up in just the newest leaves?
@nila This happened to one of my leaves recently. I think they got sunburned because I remember one day I left the window open. The rest of them are coming out fine. Maybe yours got sunburned too?
Whenever my pothos gets gnats I let it dry out before watering it again just so I can be sure they're not breeding in the soil.

As long as it's not underwatered which it doesn't seem to be it shouldn't hurt the plant.
Could also be dead spots from getting bumped or poked!
Iโ€™ve found that sometimes those brown spots just happenโ€ฆhas it happened on all your new leaves recently, or just one or two? Also recommend bottom watering to help get rid of the gnats ๐Ÿ™ƒ
@fabiana my plant gets no direct sun so it canโ€™t be sunburn.
@MeekKiwifruit Do you just wait until the first 2 inches are dry or do you let it dry out even more?
@AwaitedMaypop Itโ€™s up on a wall thatโ€™s beside a desk. Those leaves with the spots donโ€™t come into any contact with anything.
@thorny4plants Itโ€™s only been the newest ones. I ended up chopping that whole section off to see if new growth still gets it.

Thanks for the tip on bottom watering! Iโ€™ll give that a try for the gnats. ๐Ÿ˜Š
I let him dry almost completely sometimes. I'm more worried about over watering than underwatering most of the time.
@MeekKiwifruit ohh wow okay, I usually just wait until the first inch or two is dry. Iโ€™ll try cutting down the watering even more. Thanks! :)
@nila best of luck!!! I'm sure the problem will pass. Pathos are fighters๐Ÿฅฐ
