Yellow drooping leaves often mean over watering. Instead of watering on a schedule, consider watering it only when the top 2 inches of soil are dry. You can find that out by sticking your finger in or with a narrow wooden skewer
I agree with @LoriB it looks like overwatering. First thing I noticed is that pot looks way too big for the plant, which can definitely cause overwatering symptoms you're seeing.
@HumaneBunyapine when you repot, make sure the pot is no more than 2-3" bigger than the root ball. I'd also check the roots for signs of rot while you're at it. My dieffenbachia likes to dry out almost completely between waterings. If you tend to overwater plants, you might look into switching to terracotta pots instead of plastic. They're porous so they allow the soil to dry out faster between waterings.
