Plant πŸͺ΄ 911: Monstera

My monstera was wonderfully full and healthy though very root bound about a week ago. So much so that his roots were popping out of the soil with half old soil/half new. I repotted Zeus and after a few days gave him water. Now he is losing leaves/they are turning yellow/brown. Is this just shock of the new environment or is there something else to look for? #Monstera #sickplants repotting">#repotting #leavesdying #PlantAddict

Could be transplant shock. Also if it’s too cold next to the window, you might see sad leaves as well. Unfortunately there’s nothing you can do to bring that leaf back to health so I would chop it off with some sharp, sterilised snippies (wiped with alcohol) and let the plant adjust to its new soil and pot. Best of luck!
Perhaps water?
Just to add, if it is indeed a bit too cold there, it might need a new spot to live πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά
@WelsomeRhodotus thanks for the tip. I’ve had the plant for years and it does well with that window. The window is north facing and even though I’m in Chicago, we’ve had some unusually warm days as of late, so I don’t think temperature is the issue. I do actually have a plant light in soil but facing another plant. Maybe I’ll turn it around for a few days so the monstera can get some extra light.
@WelsomeRhodotus thank you!!
@StoutBahiagrass good luck and hope it comes back to its usual glory soon!
