Sad Begonia :(

Suggestions for this Rex Begonia? I bought it a while ago and it was super dried out, so I trimmed everything and repotted, but I canโ€™t seem to get any growth. I finally got a teeny tiny bit of height just recently but now the leaves are all shrivelled and dried out.
Would keeping it in a plastic bag help raise the humidity? Is the pot too big? I feel like Iโ€™m always fussing over this plant so Iโ€™d hate to dig it up and repot it again but Iโ€™m at a loss #Begonia
4โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 3 weeks ago
Is it all the leaves or just the bottom few? Iโ€™m thinking to take it out of the decorative pot so it has full air flow on those roots. The second pic looks good with the two leaves standing upโ€” whatโ€™s your watering like? How do you check for dryness? My first advice: mist it every night.
@Perkatory how much water do you give it? Do you give it enough to drain through the bottom, or do you bottom water? I need to know detailssss hahaha.
@Perkatory hahaha
Itโ€™s currently in a plastic pot that just sits in the decorative pot, thereโ€™s a bunch of space underneath for it to drain/airflow. Should I just have it with the plastic pot on the desk?
Iโ€™ve been watering with filtered water and bottom watering. The soil feels moist, I usually just use my finger pen to check the top few inches for moistness. Iโ€™m trying to not overwater it ๐Ÿ˜…
@SacredLovevine yes just the nursery pot, with a drip tray or dish underneath. Okay great Iโ€™m happy to hear youโ€™re bottom watering, yay! Have you given it any nutrients? - my tip for checking plant soil wetness is to use a bamboo skewer and put it all the way to the bottom. Pull it up and see if any dirt is stuck to it. If nothing sticks, itโ€™s way too dry. You can place it against the outside of the pot to measure exactly how wet/dry your soil is. Iโ€™d say when the top 2-3 inches are dry (considering youโ€™re in a 6 inch pot), then Iโ€™d water. Now with this guy, heโ€™s needing more humidity. Iโ€™d suggest raising it. (P.s, is he by a heat source?!)
@Perkatory thanks !
no nutrients, havenโ€™t quick figured out what I need.
Whatโ€™s the best way to raise humidity? My apartment is quite small with little ventilation so I would love to avoid a humidifier if possible.
It is by a heater but it hasnโ€™t been turned on for a couple months
@SacredLovevine okay good to know. There are plastic domes you can buy, but a cheaper option is definitely a large freezer bag. Tent it with skewers. Give it a light misting with a super fine mist and let it sit for 24 hours. I do one day on, one day off. Do that for a week. If you notice it drooping , immediately remove. You may be able to get away with just a fine mist (like 2 sprays twice a day). Best of luck! Any other questions for me?
@Perkatory nope! That was so helpful and definitely gives me somewhere to start. Thank you so much โ˜บ๏ธ
@SacredLovevine youโ€™re so welcome!โ€” feel free to peek my page and look at my 3 beauties! Iโ€™m obsessed with begonias lately lol
Update - 1 day later and already so much happier ๐Ÿ˜Š
