Top heavy Sahara split into pieces! What do I do?
#PricklyPear She started growing straight up, super tall and skinny. I guess it was too top heavy because I found photo 1 on the ground the other day and tonight came home to photo two on the ground. Photo 3 is what remains in the pot. What do I do?? Do you just simply stick these pieces back into dirt? Or do you put them in water and wait for roots? Iβve never propagated cacti before. Thank you in advance! #PropagationStation #CactusClique #BunnyEarsCactus

Let callus, stick it in soil, water, let it grow.
@Smokie-mcpot710 Beautiful Cactus!
What @Smokie-mcpot710 said! Lol
@Smokie-mcpot710 thanks! So photo 3, the remaining nub in the pot, should I just leave it in there ? Or
@HopelesslyGreen the remaining nub is fine just stick it out in the sun and itβll grow more babies!!π
Like @Smokie-mcpot710 says, Iβd stick it in dirt. When Iβm waiting for cacti to grow roots I water closer to 3-4 weeks instead of 2-3 weeks. When Iβve watered every 2-3 weeks Iβve killed the cacti. Also, using the f- around and find out method, Iβve put a succulent in water to see if it grows roots, and every time Iβve tried it, it just rots. So, I would advise against that method for roots.
@Smokie-mcpot710 thank you!
@VerdantFlora hahaha Iβve used this method oh so many times lol thanks for the help!!
