Is a plastic pot okay for Arta?
Arta is my 3 year old daughter’s plant that her nana bought her. I decided to add Arta into Greg so I could keep track of her watering. When I added Arta in I am getting a notification saying she is in the wrong type of pot. Should I plant her directly into the outer pot (which has a hole and is not glazed) or would it be okay to leave her in the plastic pot for now?
4” pot with drainage

I think she will be OK in the plastic pot for a bit. You will just have to check the soil before watering....if it still feels moist when Greg says to water....snooze until dry. Greg will learn what your individual plant needs. Good luck! I love your daughter's plant!😍
Leaving her in her plastic nursery pot it ok! It lets her drain when she’s watered !
To add on, leaving in the plastic pot makes it easier to pop it out of the container and check moisture level and root growth in the future.
@PlantEsteem thank you. I have a moisture meter so have been checking before watering. We’re just coming out of winter now so I will probably have to start watering more than once a month soon 😜

My daughter loves Arta too. She says goodnight to her every evening.
@jcPlantProper I’m pretty sure lack of drainage holes is the main reason I have been such a plant killer in the past 🤦🏻‍♀️
@Beeps oh I never thought of that. I’ve actually started getting clear plastic pots as I am loving being able to see the roots easily when watering.
@mysugaredlife how sweet!!🥺🥺🥺 I love that! 💖💚🥰🌱
