My plants

As a first-time plant owner, I feel very overwhelmed. I tried my best by watering, feeding, and putting my plants where they get sunlight, but they started turning brown, leaves fell off, and one plant died. I followed what I thought was right, but it didn’t work, and now I feel discouraged. I wish the app offered more beginner-friendly help.
1ft to light, indirect
2” pot without drainage

Hi @DearBlinks58 so sorry about your experiences so far, but the upside is that’s how we learn! And that’s how we find out which plants work best for our home and lifestyle. Do you still have the 2 plants pictured, Ava & Lavender?
Definitely look for Nadia’s @DreamMachine plantie basics 101! She’s so good at research and will lead you down the proper houseplant β€œgarden path”!!😊
@DearBlinks58 I’m about to start a planty 101 basics series of posts if you would like to be tagged in them! I’m putting out the first one today 🌿🩢
Yes I still have
@DearBlinks58 that’s good, I’m glad you still have them. Peace lilies and anthuriums are so pretty! It doesn’t look like the plant profile info for them is accurate so you may be getting the wrong suggestions from Greg. Lavender is a Peace Lily, not a Calla lily so the πŸ†” was off a bit πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Update the pot sizes. Both say pot with no drainage πŸ•³οΈ which can cause too much water accumulating in the pot eventually causing root rot. If the white pots are decorative and the plant is actually in another pot (plastic nursery pot?) inside that pot, it’s ok. You’ll just want to remove the pot from the decorative pot when watering. Once the water has drained off you can put back in decorative pot. Last thing I see from this pic is a long heating/air conditioning vent. You’ll want them far away from that vent - heating & AC dry out the air and aren’t good for plants.
Okok thank you!!!
Do I have to cut of pink and what about turn brown plants?
