Hi Diana! I love Neons!!! I just got my first one 2 weeks ago! The only thing I can tell you based on your profile is they donβt do very well in direct sunlight, unless it is morning sun. I have mine in an East facing window where it gets bright indirect sun, with maybe an hour of first sun peeking out for the day. Good draining soil, with draining pot. I take mine outside to water and I clean the leaves off (Texas is dusty!!) . I got mine from the Greg store and itβs a beauty (I know Iβm bragging lol) BTW- you have beautiful plants- and I love your pot for Bella! I have a charcoal one!
Hey! Your Neon Pothos is a hardy and easy-care plant. Here are some tips to keep it thriving. Place it in bright, indirect light, though it can tolerate low light conditions. Water it when the top inch of soil feels dry, but avoid letting it sit in water. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. You can mist it occasionally, but it's not necessary since Pothos can handle normal indoor humidity levels. If you want it to grow fuller, you can trim the longer vines and propagate the cuttings. Regularly wipe the leaves to keep them dust-free and looking vibrant.
Iβve had my neon pothos for a few years. It survived π(didnβt grow, just stayed the same) in a very low area in my bedroom for a year, so it can survive that way which is nice, BUT NOW! I have had it in indirect bright light for 9 months and itβs soooo happy and growing like crazy. I even just added a stake for it to climb. π. I also have given it a mild 2-2-2 liquid fertilizer about 2-3 times over the last 6 months, too, which helps a lot. Enjoy! π
@EthicalNoognug Neon Pothos can definitely thrive under grow lights, especially if natural light is limited. Grow lights that emit a full spectrum of light, including blue and red wavelengths, are ideal for promoting healthy growth. Make sure the lights are not too close to the plant to avoid leaf burnβusually, keeping them 12-18 inches away is a good distance. If the plant shows signs of yellowing or browning under the lights, you may need to adjust the distance or intensity. Keep monitoring the growth, and adjust the light exposure as needed!
