Bushier as in more leaves? Or more leaves at the bottom? Each plant can only hold as much leaves as their lighting conditions permit. If you want a bushier plant, put it closer to the window, but not in direct since pilea doesn't seem to like direct. Unfortunately there won't be any leaves at the bottom, cause the plant focuses on growing upwards. You will get a tree-like plant though :). I think you can also top cut if you don't like the bare stem
