Splash or am I reaching?
🥳 So I got a surprise last week…I HAVE A NODE!! I wasn’t expecting it AT ALL, but thank you plant gods!

🥰 Then today I go to check on baby’s growth and see this variegation type pattern.

🥵 Is this what #SweetheartHoya sunburn looks like? I have it in a south facing window sill that receives plenty of direct sun throughout the day. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #BeforeAndAfter #HoyaHangout #PlantID

It looks more like splash to me! @jcPlantProper was telling me this can be triggered by soil amendments.

@rjg That’s awesome! I hope more leaves come out like this in the future! And I also hope it turns into a heart shape! Lol I use an aroid mix and systemic insecticide granules 🧐

@babyfiretiger13 they're very sensitive to pressure when first growing. because this one had to come through the soil, it may never fully heart (I have some deformed leaves too). But the next one should be great!!

@RJG Poor baby lol, it’s okay I will love it just the same! I’ll be waiting patiently since I’m pretty sure it will be a while before the next leaf since they are such slow growers 🐌

@babyfiretiger13 so there are two in the pot Steph and Klay, the splash brothers(idk if you watch the NBA) but I think they've been together for almost 6 months now? I have had Steph just over a year now.
