How come my echeveria is so shiny?
Hiya! I just got this new succulent today and noticed that she is so much more shiny than my other two lipstick echeveria. I know that the dust-like stuff on succulents kinda acts like sunscreen, so do I need to be careful with this one?

Well, I think that echeveria may be misidentified to start - it looks like a Purpusiorum Echeveria to me more than a Lipstick. 😅
My Purpusiorums are both shiny like that, and they're perfectly alright with the sun/growlights after being acclimated - they just don't have has evident farina as other succulents tend to have.
ok thank you! That makes more sense😂
