Normal or not normal?

#Philodendron Hi everyone! I bought this silver sword over the previous weekend. I was told it was recently repotted by the nursery owner and to wait a month or two before I do, so I currently have it sitting in its originally container, just inside of a bigger vase. the leaves are starting to droop downwards. I have bottom watered it, it’s not in direct sun but within 2 ft of the window. Is this just a symptom of it acclimating and getting used to its new environment? Or is there something i need to do?
3ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
It's normal. Likely the nursery has it in way brighter conditions than your home, especially given the plant is 3ft away from a window. It's adjusting from a bright condition to slightly dimmer condition until it hits a balance. The number of leaves it can hold depends on how much light is available. Not to worry. It'll adjust soon
Philodendron thrive in bright indirect light and a few feet from the window isn’t going to give it the light that it needs/wants. Does the planter on the outside have drainage holes? If not, it could be at risk for root rot, even if the planter from the nursery does have drainage.
