Browning!
I cannot keep this plant from browning no matter what I do. It is getting new growth but maybe 2 leaves every 2 months, I tried misting but that might be causing more browning? Currently in my bathroom because it is the most humid place, but the window is open and wondering if that was maybe causing it to dry out because it was hotter than normal? I do live by the coast so more humid here generallyβ¦ tips?π΅βπ«

Iβm going to post what the plant-sensei @SuperbRaspfern shared with me regarding calatheas (or marantas) identical care tips β€οΈπΏβ¨

@DreamMachine thank you so much! I do pretty much everything except the pebble tray, so am going to give that a try!
@InvitingMelon So I live in a more humid place as well, what is your watering rhythm? You will see recommendations to never let it dry out, BUT if you do have a humid environment like we do, it is okay to let them dry between waterings. Because of this I have also been adding more drainage to my soil and I donβt fully saturate it since things do stay more wet in my area than the norm.
@DreamMachine yes I started getting more growth when I let it dry out a bit more. It was too dry for a while, then too wet, and feel like I have that down but still somehow getting browning. π€
