Can anyone tell me what is happening with my Pilea?

Hello, plant community. This morning, I noticed a bump on the green leaf of my Pilea. I'm unsure what it is. Does anyone have any ideas?

I found a similar post on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/plantclinic/s/6Ida2dSFGq
However the comment section was not that useful. Eventually Op said that they cut that leaf and did not have any further issues.
That is odd. My first thought is that is almost looks like a gall. Galls are most often caused by persistent pests like aphids, thrips, or scale insects. These pests feed on the plant's juices and can inject plant growth hormones, which trigger abnormal tissue growth.ย  I am quite uncertain and commenting mainly to see where this thread goes. Interesting...
@phytologyfan thank you. The plant, hadn't had any pests. I checked the leaves and soil and there are no living organisms that I can see.
@phytologyfan thank you
