How much water should I be putting in?

#AloeVera
3ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
When I water any plant I like to completely soak the soil, let it drain until it doesn't drip, and I don't water again until all the soil is completely dry (or mostly dry depending on the plant)
Aloe is built to hold on to the water it takes in for long periods of time, I'd wait for all the soil to dry and then wait another few days or a week before soaking it again
So about how many cups or liek thirds?
I also water until it runs through the bottom of my pots or I bottom water. I dont measure the water.
@LargeHeketara don't measure. Let the water completely flow through. There's no specific amount.
As long as it has good drainage, the amount of water doesn’t matter. Water it until water drips out of the holes and the soil is completely wet, and let it drip for about 20 minutes, or until it’s stopped dripping. If you don’t have drainage, I would recommend reporting it, as Aloe Vera doesn’t do well if the soil stays wet for a long time.
