@WiredSalad27 - Hello Kendal and Welcome to our #GregGang ❀️❀️

Yellowing leaves could be a sign of a few different things!! The bottom leaves turn yellow before falling off, yellow leaves in the middle of the plant could mean too much water, or root shock from transplanting! It’s ok, it happens! Nothing you did wrong! Just keep an eye on it and see what happens over the next few days 😊
@JenniferNoel thanks! This plant has always stayed pretty healthy until I moved him to a different pot so I am a tad nervous. All of my other plants I’ve moved have acclimated well to repotting but this one not so much.
@WiredSalad27 - So with that being said, I’d say transplant shock! It should be ok!
How wet is the soil??
Hi! My best tip is make sure the pot has drainage! If you don’t have chunky soil especially! Drainage helps extra water to escape so if there’s no drainage holes, the water will sit and the plants roots will rot. I think yellowing leaves is a big indicator for root rot so make sure you let the soil dry all the way out or try repotting it in a new pot with drainage. I would wait a bit to make sure it’s not in shock from the transplant though. Unless it’s steadily dying then maybe take it out and put it in a jar with water to let the roots grow back. I’ve had to do this so many times πŸ₯²
My pothos likes a smaller pot and she is still growing! If it keeps dying I would cut some of the stems off and water propagate them and then plant back into a shorter pot!
Yes I had made the same mistake thinking that if I put my small pothos in a larger pot than it would be better, and actually it's the opposite. Start with a pot that you think is too small. I've learned that about every 6 months go up a half an inch size. It has worked for me. Good luck ! Because after my monsteras my pothos are my favorite plants. They are so sturdy and they will eventually acclimate.
