Hi @WittyToropapa81 the thought is that terracotta with drainage is best for snake plants, succulents and cactus because it “absorbs” water. Drainage is key no matter what material it’s potted in.

Everyone says terracotta or unglazed ceramic but honestly, with careful water monitoring, I use a meter, mine do fine in plastic with good drainage but NEED succulent soil. That's my big boy. I have a 2nd in a smaller plastic pot that I separated from this one.
