What’s the best pot to use for the snake plant

#Dracaena
4ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 day ago
Hi @WittyToropapa81 the thought is that terracotta with drainage is best for snake plants, succulents and cactus because it β€œabsorbs” water. Drainage is key no matter what material it’s potted in.
It is soil
Terracota
Everyone says terracotta or unglazed ceramic but honestly, with careful water monitoring, I use a meter, mine do fine in plastic with good drainage but NEED succulent soil. That's my big boy. I have a 2nd in a smaller plastic pot that I separated from this one.
Clay pot
