Anyone know why this peace lily has gone droopy? Been about a week since it’s last water :(

6” pot
Last watered 1 week ago
They do show that they need water very dramatically like this. Hopefully it perks up after your watering πŸŒ±πŸ’šοΏΌ
@Gordo Does it need water? The soil is still slightly damp so I worry that I overwatered
@bellatrecca when was the last time you watered? I
@Gordo 25th August, so I don’t think the soil should still be damp πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
@bellatrecca yes like @Gordo said they are very dramatic when they need to be watered. Mine does the same thing then perks right up after I water it.
@bellatrecca yeah that’s a bit long but it’s always hard to give advice as I don’t know your conditions. But your soil may be to dense and holding too much moisture. You may have some root rot. If it is still in the same soil from the grower or stand potting mix, if it doesn’t receive light and airflow and may other factors it is not drying out before you water again. You can pull the plant out of the pot and check for root rot and if you find it, treat with hydrogen peroxide solution and repot in fresh well draining soil and watch your watering and hopefully it will recover.
I would check the roots
Mine is a water lover and very dramatic as well when she needs fluids then perks right up when I give her a drink.
