Spider plant leaves turning brown

#SpiderPlant hello everyone! I’ve been wondering what’s up with my spider plant. It’s been thriving since the beginning but since like a month it’s been turning brown. I had her in the window but moved her away from direct sun for like a week now but it seems like her leaves got even soggier. I really wanna save her and I hope I don’t lose her. Does anyone have any idea what can be going wrong?

Spider plants can get brown tips for several reasons. If the leaves feel soggy I would think it’s a problem with over watering. Make sure you wait until the soil feels dry but not fully dried out before you water. Also make sure none of the roots are blocking the drainage holes because excess water can cause root rot. If the leaves are crispy that could be from under watering, sunburn, or lack of humidity. Again water thoroughly when the soil is dry. I don’t believe it’s sunburn based off images in your gallery. If you think humidity is the problem just move her to a more humid spot with bright indirect light or bring a humidifier near by. No matter what the issue is you can snip off those brown sections or the whole leave. They can’t turn green again and will stay brown.
Maybe put her back where you had her
Water and they are drama queens
I can't relate to this. I moved two of my spider plants to a new location. Drama queens hated their new location, tips of leaves turned brown and they looked awful. I put them back in their original locations and they're thriving πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ welcome to Greg Caroline, happy growing. πŸ₯°
@MisfitPlantCo I didn’t think of the roots blocking the drainage holes until you mentioned it and sure enough I checked and some really big roots were blocking the drainage which I suspect caused root rotting. I have reported it and cleaned it out a bit and repotted it in new soil. Hopefully this saves her!
@Ccruz413 that should do it!! Make sure to hold off on watering for for a few days to prevent rot again.
