I have little bugs in my plant

I have tiny little gnat type bugs all over the top of the soil on my snake plant. Are there any home remedies I can use to treat it? And other things I should do to prevent them from going to my new plants I just bought.

Hi @DandyMizuna87 😊 It is probably fungus gnats you have. They live like larvae in moist soil and the adult gnats might spread eggs to your other plants. Put some sticky traps out to get the adult ones, they really work even if it takes some time.

Then as long as you don't have plants that need to stay moist you should let the soil dry out as much as possible, as the larvae need moist soil to live. Snake plants do well without water for a long time, so just let it dry out completly for 2-4 weeks and the larvae will die.
