While I don't own this specific plant, some general care tips for plants over all:
Research bottom watering, better for the plants and helps ward off mold, gnats and helps with overwatering.
Make sure leaves are dusted regularly as foliage plants absorb light thru their leaves and dusty leaves can limit growth. Check every few months for rootbound. If there are root starting to peek out of the drainage holes, it's time for a new pot!

@OKIEgrnthmb do you have any suggestions? I dont have a Melano.
@Tariqcannings I just recieved a Melanochrsyum, but generally philos are pretty easy to care for! Plant Proper has some care instructions for these beauties....I took sceenshots of their care instructions!
As suggested by @Marthamaywho92 bottom watering is very beneficial and a good habit to start!
