Basil plant drooping?

Hi friends! One of my friends just got a basil plant and is noticing it is drooping. She told me that she waters it a little daily and she puts it outside for some sun. She is in California. Any ideas or remedies for this? Thanks! #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #Basil #GregGang
If she’s gets full sun everyday I would water her all the way through until it comes out of the pot holes. I would put my finger in the soil and if it still feels wet then I would wait a day
It definitely sounds like a watering issue. I know in summer I often have to water my outdoor potted plants twice a day to keep them from wilting.
Yep, water thoroughly so it develops good strong roots and then check the soil to make sure it’s not too dry.

You may want to place it in the shade for several days.😎
@emmiev123 I concur with @plantstate a shade can offer a quick fix for leaves affected by sun overexposure , while a gentle misting can perk up those that are just thirsty for some humidity.
