Party timeโ€™s no longer partying.

I brought Orwell to Florida with me for 6 months where he lived in a screened in porch. My other plants thrived but he was not a fan, did not really grow, leaves died and grew back very small. I brought him up north for the summer indoors, but our neighbors had cut their tree down outside my window changing the light Iโ€™m getting in my southeast window. I had him on the windowsill and all his tiny leaves shriveled up and died. A lot of my plants didnโ€™t seem to like the new light except for the cacti. Heโ€™s now a leafless pink stick and I moved him a few feet away from the window and next to the wall where he only gets direct light for a few hours instead of all day. What can I do to help him out? Will he regrow leaves? He was my favorite plant.
2ft to light, direct
4โ€ pot with drainage

Please show us pictures, before and after if you have them. What kind of plant?

What a beautiful plant! Iโ€™ve never seen such bright pink leaves in any plant. Your soil looks like it may be dry and/or too compacted. If you change soil, use a looser one and add perlite to lighten it. You could cut lengths of the stem, put in water, let them grow roots then replant along with the original stem. Also, cutting it back will help the plant grow some more branches and fill out some.
@AC73LoveCats Itโ€™s so pretty! I did do a mix of coco coir and perlite with the potting soil in my repot a few weeks ago but hasnโ€™t seemed to help. I may try to propagate it, where do I cut?
Cut down to where you have a couple of nodes you can put in water and roots will grow from there.
@peepsplants I bought mine as a 2 inch cutting and she was doing the same thing to me. I started using distilled water instead of tap water and Beyoncรฉ is now belting out new growth. I havenโ€™t moved mine either. Itโ€™s sitting 1 foot from a south facing slider door and she loves it there!!
