Newbie plant parent asking for advice
I got this Aglaonema a little less than a week ago. I noticed that one of the lower leaves has become yellow and looks a bit lifeless. The other leaves are fine.
I checked for any pests and didn't find any, and the roots looked great when I repot it. The pot has a draining hole, and I used a mix of soil and clay pebbles. The plant is directly in front of a north facing window, so no direct sunlight. I've only watered it once with a little fertilizer, when i repot it the day i got it.
Does anyone know what could be the cause of the leaf becoming yellow? Is it just the plant adjusting to the new home or have I done something wrong? How can I help the plant?

Hey!! Congrats on your new find! Assuming youβre only losing the bottom, older leaves this is normal! Plants oldest leaves turn yellow as they age and then eventually die off to make room for new growth! This becomes a concern when itβs newer leaves that are turning yellow and dying off. So, no stress! It looks great :)
