@PrimalKonjac45 Is the plant in question in a plastic pot? If so you might want to repot it into a Terracotta pot. Plastic pot are non-previous whereas Terracotta pots are porous and the soil can breathe, so to speak. The terracotta pot will be able to let the soil dry out much faster, thus potentially avoiding root rot!
If a new leaf was also looking that way and you are describing spots as β€œmushy”, it sounds overwatered… whichever roots feed those leaves may be rotting.
Thank you all. My house is very humid and it takes for ever for soil to dry out. I just repotted her trying to get the soil less moist because what she came in was not drying out. Do you think it would be a good idea to take her out again and maybe add some more perlite?
I repotted her about a week ago and haven't watered since the repotting
