Leaves are dying off

#SpiderPlant some of the leaves are Turing brown started from the tips. Who do I tend to this and how do I prevent it from continuing?
6ft to light, indirect
8” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@PoignantDamiana Welcome to the Greg community! There could potentially be different reasons for this to happen . Spider plant leaf tips turn brown most commonly due to underwatering, which causes the tips to dry out, but other potential causes include: low humidity, exposure to too much direct sunlight, overfertilizing, poor water quality (like tap water with high mineral content), drafts from air vents, and sometimes even overwatering which can lead to root rot. Dryness: This is the most common reason, so ensure your plant is getting consistent watering and check the soil before watering to avoid overwatering. And Low humidity: Spider plants prefer humid environments, so consider using a humidifier or placing them near a bathroom. To much direct sunlight! While spider plants like bright light, direct sunlight can burn the leaves, causing brown tips.
