Are these white specks normal or not? Doesn’t seem to be fungus or a bug problem…

@Mitz000 yes they are normal, it looks like a Hoya Carnosa Tricolor Crimson Queen.
@Mitz000 can you post a current pic of your Hoya. Just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

@Mitz000 The white spots on top of the leaves are probably a buildup of mineral salts. You can remove them with a bit of diluted vinegar on a soft cloth. To prevent these, don't use tap water, which may have additives in it (unless you are on well water). Instead, use either distilled or rain water.
@Mitz000 the specks are in the leave’s. totally normal. Some Hoya varieties have varying amount of specks that can increase or decrease depending on variety and lighting. Nothing to worry about. Hoya looks great 😊
