What’s up with my Star Cactus?

All of a sudden, like over the past few days, my Star Cactus has been changing colour from green to that burgundy-ish and possibly looking a little sad.

It’s in a very gritty succulent soil and terracotta pot with a drainage hole. I’m quite sure overwatering isn’t the culprit. I also don’t see any obvious signs of pests (although a craggy plant like Drake is tricky to properly inspect).

We’re entering autumn in Southern Ontario and it’s been a little grey and rainy so it’s been less bright but he’s indoors and it’s not his first season change so I’m not sure that’s it either.

Your thoughts and/or advice are very welcome .

Mine gets really red when it has had sun β˜€οΈ maybe looks a little thirsty. Do the leaf bend trick. If the leaf stays bent, he wants water. If not, he’s fine :) use a leave higher up on the plant but not the very tippy top.

This should be a link to mine, and they look really similar but I’ve never called mine a star cactus so I’m not 100% lol
