Hey everybody! I was told succulents can't grow back leav...
3” pot with drainage

Those are aerial roots. They appear for a variety of reasons like searching for more moisture, trying to find soil to provide more support for the plant, and it can be an indicator that the plant isn’t getting enough nutrients or light. You don’t need to get rid of them or anything, they’re just roots. They’re not necessarily good, but also aren’t the end of the world. Humidity can cause them, which can be tough to help during the summer!
A quick rundown of care tips for succulents:
-they need succulent soil (not house or garden soil)
-they need a pot with drainage
-when you water it, it needs to be a deep and thorough water (not just a little dribble every few weeks). One nice big watering every few weeks, enough water that it’s pouring out of the bottom drain holes. Then gently shake, tilt the pot to ensure no water is sitting at the bottom.
-keep it somewhere with good air circulation, not too hot or too humid.
