Money tree & watering
My money tree is doing perfectly fine… and it scares me😂😭 I’ve only had this green thumb for 2 months,… & this tree and the rest of my plants are doing wonderful. I just need some pointers on the care of a money tree. Anything will suffice 😊 #MoneyTree #PLANTMAFIA #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewPlantMom

@Uniqueplantlove It was the only name for my money tree that came to me🥰
@PeacefulBohoBby I love it
Wow! I've never seen one with such a large trunk. So beautiful!!

So I've had my money tree for 7 years and it's been a journey. They typically do well to be left alone. You can let them completely dry out before giving a good soaking. They don't like to sit in water. They like a fair bit of light but too much direct sun can really stress them out. For a while we kept them in a pretty dark room and it still did well. They can be picky and don't like to be moved once they feel acclimated to a certain space. They love humidity. We bring it in the bathroom when we shower and mist it 1-2 times a week. I also recommend repotting every couple years. They do like to be snug in their pots but fresh soil will keep them happy. I also recommend pruning when it gets too tall and leggy. You can take the cuttings and propagate in water as well. Good luck! You got this! ❤️
@Leyleaves This is the comment I’ve been waiting for😩😩😩 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HELPFUL INSIGHT!!! Seriously!😩😩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I thought my trunk was little? 👀 Because my tree is little 🤷🏽‍♀️ I dont know! Help me to see what you see on that part, lol! I’m going to use ALL of this info that you gave me!!! I needed it, & I’m so appreciative that you commented😭😭💕💕💕💕 thank you so much!!!
@PeacefulBohoBby You are most welcome! I'm so glad my experience has helped! I love my little money tree and I have made so many mistakes with mine but it's really been a learning experience! ❤️
@Leyleaves Indirect sunlight is okay? Because I have it sitting on my plant shelf that’s facing a SW window. The shelf is like 3-5 feet away from the window (I’m horrible in math😂😂)
@PeacefulBohoBby that should be perfect!
