Hey, Savannah!
Sometimes when elephant ears first come out of the bulb the leaves can have some minor deformation or damage. This isnβt anything to be concerned about, but if the next few leaves look like this one, then thereβs a problem. Elephant ears will develop crispy edges if they donβt have enough moisture, mainly in the soil. They really arenβt picky with humidity (anything above desert conditions is fine), but too dry soil will cause your plant to develop crispy leaves.
Just make sure your plant is only allowed to dry out by an inch or two and your plant will be fine.
Hope this helps! Happy growing π΄πΊ!
(PS. Your nails look amazing!)

@PlantMompy hi Ashley! Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question! So when it unfurled the leaf wasnβt perfect, But what I did notice was the stem opening up and thereβs another leaf coming out, Iβm hoping it comes out perfect!π₯Ήπ₯Ή
