#OldManCactus it's as if he's hollow and a smoker with his yellowish tone.
There is no gel feeling to him or soggy, only empty. When feeling of the sides to check that was when I realized he felt hollow. I had bought this a couple of years ago for a friend to remind her of her strength during hard times. It seems as if there was no water at all.
How often do you water it?
Wow, this is so cool! I just seen one the other day while I was browsing. But it was small so its cool to see a big one.
@Lunatik4 I had her doing 1/2 a cup about every 3-4 weeks but I thought she had a hang of it and I’ve been out for a bit. Upon returning, suddenly she approached me with this and can’t tell me how often she’s been doing it.
@Jenw1N look at its roots to see if they are not rotten, if they look healthy they probably just need water.

Ideally you want the soil to dry in a few days after watering. Always best to mix your soil with 50-60% pumice for drainage and quick drying. Sift out any wood chunks and debris. Avoid fine sand and overwatering.

@Lunatik4 Thank you. I used succulent soil and in addition mixed an additional bit more pumice. No sand.
