Fungus gnats

Hello everyone, I’m dealing with Fungus gnats all over my house πŸ₯Ί

In your opinion what should I do? What treatment works for you?

Thanks! #fungusgnats #HealthyHabitat #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregGang #GreggersSupportingGreggers

I had this same issue when I grew my collection over a few plants. I started using Microbe-Lift BMC. Put one drop in a gallon of water and water your plants with it. It kills the larvae that they lay in the soil. You can bottom water but I don’t have time for that with the size of my collection lol. I’d buy the yellow sticky traps to catch the adult gnats. It works awesome. It will take time to get rid of the adults but as you keep using the microbe you will get rid of them.

I put it in with my fertilizer water as well. The bottle lasts forever and more importantly NO GNATS !! I’ll send the link for the sticky traps as well

@Gabiblocatelli I’ve had good luck with the yellow sticky traps and letting the soil dry out extra extra completely. They’re annoying for sure, but typically don’t do much damage thankfully πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ’š
I got myself a few Sundews to help with my gnat problem. They have been working amazing!
But I have tried the yellow sticky traps and they help some what as well.
Best of luck getting rid of them! They sure can be annoying.

Sticky traps to catch the adults

And mosquito BTI to kill the larvae. Add in water and pour
I second @RulerMoonflower You can get Mosquito Bits on amazon. After you do a couple rounds of that, u would start trying to bottom water your plants.

Just to lighten the depressing situation of those nasty fungus gnats...
Find a place where you've always wanted to go on vacation.
Go there.
Check into a reasonably priced B+B.
'Give your plants πŸͺ΄ to a loving, professional caregiver for 2 months or so.
Following the 2 months, move back to a pure, uninfested happy home 🏑 😊 ...where you will also return happy and uninfested and maybe a little more tanned!
@CutePolypremum I never knew fungus gnats could be so handy to have as an excuse for a holiday πŸ˜‰
@Seymour
It's the perfect time of the year in my neck of the world 🌎 to begin preparations!
I hear that Perth has ideal weather conditions for a vacay now...
