I brought all my succulents and cactus outside for the summer. Now Iโ€™m busy repotting old and new plants. I love the aloe and friends pot I put together yesterday.
Featured photos are all so great!!
I haven't got much pics, but I do have one of my aloe on his way to recovery from me not taking proper care of him. He got his green back ^^ (unfortunately, most of the other succs are still unable to be brought indoors to recover at the moment u-u)
My newest edition is a lithops that I've been hovering over since I got it back in March. Here's a pic from the weekend plus a screenshot of its photo album since I've had it - look how much it split and grew!

Much thanks to @stephonicle @fairyfly @thenonnon @TheLonelyDaff @vvvelo for their help on my post when I was worrying about it.
Looking good @BrawnyMachofern @FairyFly @Shells_Garden @Just1More @vvvelo ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘! I'd just cut that burros back to the edge of the pot.๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
Few things I've moved out for spring๐ŸŒž or rain I guess today๐Ÿ™„
Thank you for mentioning me!
Found this guy tipped over and kicked around the floor at Lowe's. He was looking rough, but never had a cactus before, figured he'd be a good starter. He is thriving and has been growing taller rapidly, originally just shy of 3 inches above soil. Just about 8.5 inches now :)
I gave those babies to my mother-in-law. Sheโ€™s starting a rock garden in her backyard!
One of my succulent gardens. They are all growing so well!
My new little planty friend. Afterall, we can all use a little extra affirmation, now and thenโ€ฆ.
I am a new succulent parent and just rearranged my succulents on a console table in my office so they get better light. I also just got glow lights to supplement since it has been rainy and overcast a lot lately. I love checking out all the succulents out there. :)
@BrawnyMachofern, thank you ๐Ÿซถ๐ŸŒต
Mama and her babies
My new baby
I donโ€™t know which ones are succulents for sure?
@SpicyPoindexter they are all a version of a succulent plant! Christmas Cactus, Kalanchoe,Hayworthia. Zebra plant and Crassula or Jade. Your Kalanchoe is gorgeous and what pretty flowers. Nicely done!
@LeadChincactus looks ๐Ÿ‘
@Artonina boy she got lucky!
@Sarabelle29 looks great love the pots and arrangement
Love these cute bbs!
Loving all the pics this week! Hereโ€™s my Golden Tooth aloe and my Christmas Sleigh aloes showing their colors (complements of my Sansi grow lights). Recently repotted the Christmas sleigh aloe. Hasnโ€™t slowed down the new growth.
@ballondusoleil thatโ€™s so cool!
@RefinedSandwort That Golden Tooth Aloe is so beautiful
@RefinedSandwort very nice! That golden has some great color
#WhatTheSuccWednesday #GregGang #SucculentSquad #CactusClique Happy Humpday hope everyoneโ€™s week is going swimmingly so far ! Today the cactus I want to show off is the Mammillaria Elongata, this cactus i sprouting one new arm after another. Next in line is Euphorbia Japonica, itโ€™s such an unusual looking succulent! Now how do I let my cacti know that growing tall is not a competition? Pic 3 the African Milk tree right next to it is the somewhat shorter but still relatively tall Blue Columnar cactus. Donโ€™t let them know but I think the African Milk tree has the Blue Clumnar cactus beaten by a mile! Bringing up the rear is the Raven ZZ pant proudly displaying new growth and leaves . @RJG I am glad that the regular WhatTheSuccWednesday is back in session.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Well thatโ€™s it from me for today hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week, stay safe!
@Ms.Persnickety Your photos didn't post ๐Ÿค—
Hereโ€™s my astrophytum caput-medusae the most strange cactus in my collection (and the most expensive ๐Ÿ˜‚) I also have a nice little frithia pulchra.
I took cuttings from my Elephant Bush on Monday. I love getting free plants ! #SucculentSquad
@ballondusoleil thanks for the shout out! Happy to have been part of the help team โ˜บ๏ธ Love the photos showing your #Lithops progress while splitting! You're so much more patient than I am, when mine got to about the 6th photo I (gently) pulled the old leaves off lol ๐Ÿคช
@BrawnyMachofern Just wanted to mention, you can change your plant names to anything you like! I used to name mine after favorite authors, musicians, athletes, etc., but now I've changed them to their scientific names ๐Ÿค“
@SpicyPoindexter "succulent" is a rather broad term. It can be used to describe any plant that's drought-tolerant, stores water in its leaves, and/or likes its soil to completely dry out between waterings. So like @Shells_Garden said, all the plants in your photos can be described as succulents! And just a heads up, your moon cactus is actually two separate plants that have been grafted together. The colorful plant on top will die off much faster because it lacks chlorophyll. When that happens, just remove it from the bottom cactus, which will continue to grow on its own.
Thanks for the shout out!
@SpicyPoindexter They are all succulents. Remember that all cacti are succulents but not all succulents are cacti.
#whatthesuccwednesday Does it still look good and stunning to look at?!๐Ÿฅบ The top part got damaged to the infamous annoying small flys that kept on flying around and including around my food few days on this week usually the flies don't appear that often just one or two probably because of the spray that i used after the baby spider problem that i noticed on Sunday i don't use it that often so hopefully the spray smell goes away maybe the fly issue will go away as well pesty little buggers!!!๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿชฐ
#WhatTheSuccWednesday #SucculentSquad #CactusClique #GregGang @stephonicle Oh cr*p, thanks for the heads up. Let me see if I can correct that! This has never happened before, I hope they do post now.
@RJG thank you for the feature! I think I may have found the magical succulent corner of my yard! Iโ€™m going to build a little shelf and begin gradually adding more succulents out there. Iโ€™m reluctant to plant any more in the ground soil because we a gopher problem right now.
Hears my favorite succulent pot collection
Just got some new ones
Look at them
Yaaay. To my plant family
Beautiful plants ๐Ÿชด
