It's completely normal for the leaves to dry up and fall off from around the base, it's part of their natural life cycle. Like most succulents, these are very slow glowing plants. Waiting for new growth is kind of like waiting for paint to dry โ€” the more you watch it, the longer it seems to take ๐Ÿ˜‚ Just make sure it's getting plenty of direct sun and you're only watering when the soil has completely dried out, and eventually it will put out new growth. Also, try to remove any dead or dying leaves from around the base. Decaying plant matter can attract fungus and pests. It also gives your plant a neater appearance ๐Ÿ˜‰
@stephonicle Thank you so much!! Reading that makes me feel so much better! I've been a bit of a chronic plant killer in the past so I guess I'm second guessing everything I do at this point. ๐Ÿ˜
