So many pretty leaves and setups. Here mostly the hoyas are hoyaing. Too many to post. And I got my first calathea, so I can relate to the "first pink plant" side of things.
And I want to share my oncidium buds that are driving me crazy. Even more now that @LaSiguanaba had shared her stunning blooms. I'm really a very patient person and I know they take time. But come on! Bloom, damn it! I even dreamed of the buds opening last night. No joke. 🤦♀️ is been growing for months now and the longer it takes, the more obsessed I get.

@RJG just a few new leaf pictures, I have way too many to share them all. Regal Shield is putting out another leaf. Red King is doing something, not sure if it's a leaf lol. Brasil is putting out lots of new leaves. Purple Sword is putting out a new leaf on the baby plant. And my Bromeliad was bought with a puppy just barely visible and now it looks like this a month later. I thought it was weird she is growing a puppy already since she hasn't fully flowered.

@ILoveMyPlants thank you. Never thought, I'd ever get one. Or if I would, it would be a pinstriped one first. Alas, non stripes to be seen in the shops. Just this one with a slight dent in the decorative pot it came with. Well, seeing this chance to haggle and get this one for basically nothing... did I have another choice?
Btw the pot (not this one, she was sold in an orchid, I guess because it matched the color well) is gorgeous as well 😀

@ILoveMyPlants very 😀 can't quite get over those leaves yet, though. I'm always running around touching the leaves, buds and flowers of everything in sight (as you might have guessed from the burtoniae comment just above 🤦♀️) and they are so.... weird.

My fishy tail Hoya has weathered thru thirps and still wears the damage but she’s strong and is putting out new leaves and now an entire new branch. My syngonium is giving me a very white leaf 🤪 I can’t wait to see this frydek leaf, it’s only giving a lil peak. Burle Marx put out this giant beauty and my dragons breath is back from the dead and is pushing out leaves again 🤩🥰 Thank goodness
#FreshLeafFriday do these count as fresh leaves if I bring them home on a Friday? Philodendron joepii, hoya carnosa compacta variegated, hoya callistophylla, and milk cactus
This week has brought in a BUNCH of new growth 🥰
1️⃣ Aloe Vera finally got a new leaf! It was close to being dead a few weeks ago and I lost half of it, but now it’s doing better than ever!! YAYYY 🙌🏼
2️⃣ Nanouk Tradescantia keeps getting wider and wider with new growth
3️⃣ False Christmas Cactus is loving life! New stem growth on just about every stem
4️⃣ Croton Petra has a bunch of new leaves unfurling on the top
5️⃣ Red Prayer plant just got a new pot and it’s currently got 3 new leaves unfurling
So I’d say they all seem to be quite happy which makes me VERY HAPPY 🥰♥️🥰

@SpiritedRedrose I noticed your post with the golden torch cactus and noticed it has some bad Etiolation going on. It’s not getting enough light. Try to move it to where it gets more direct sunlight or move it under a good grow light. It’s stretching and reaching for more light. I have issues with some plants doing that also because they get too much shade out front
@SpiritedRedrose I dont know of any way to message you so I just posted here and tagged you to let you know it needs more light. I have some cacti I need to put under a grow light because outside they have too much shade the way my apartment building is made and the direction it is facing

@WorldlyVixen I love your string of pearls hanging there. They are so beautiful! I had no luck with mine but then again where I was at the time all my plants didn’t do that well. Most of them survived that apartment. There was no sun light at all in there. I was looking for another one but have not found one yet.
@MomentousBonsai when I was just a little girl my mom and aunts used to take me to a plant shop on top of a rooftop in New York City called Terese’s. I loved going there. They had ever plant you could think of. Ever since then I’ve been into plants.
@PugandPlantMom Lucky to have those two! We had our fawn female Keelie for 15 years. Lost her and our 16 year old Abyssinian cat Bebe last fall. We were able to get our 2 new Abys in February and waited for them to get used to our home, and have been looking for a new pug for a couple months.
@AmyM where do you live? US? If you made me one how much would you charge? And to ship? If i made it it probably would not look the same😆
