Snapped leaf!!
I have nursed an adopted white bird of paradise back to health, and she finally produced a big, beautiful new leaf! I thought she was doing so well, but the leaf just snapped :((( nothing happened, it literally just snapped in half. Is the leaf lost? I’ve tied the broken leaf to the existing one in the meantime. #BirdOfParadise #HappyPlants #NewGrowth

A similar thing has happened to my spider plants. I’ve noticed it just when the leaf becomes bigger than what the plant can support. Usually nothing happens and the leaf continues to grow on unharmed.
