So proud of the growth on my monstera adansonii in just 2 months! I bought it as a baby in hopes of seeing it grow into a trailing plant in a hanging planter. It's loving the northwest window it's in!

Good Morning!

My ric rac cactus is busting loose. I wanted to make sure all my plants weren't burnt in this heat but he is THRIVING! 
My alocasia Polly pushed a new little life that's so cute. I THINK my ficus is trying to give me a nub on top cuz that bitch hasn't budged since I bought her 🙄🙄🙄 but you can't see anything but dirty nub in a pic 🤷🏾‍♀️
It's HOT. I'm just trying to keep everything from dying right now 🥵

Good morning! While we were on vacation my #FungWaxFlower started sprouting out #NewGrowth in all directions and the #monstera gave us a fresh leaf after a few weeks when her growing really slowed. This monstera #Propagation really dropped some new #RootPorn and I’m staring to wonder if she’s ready for dirt? Happy #FreshLeafFriday 🌱

@RJG because your a plant expert I had a question. I noticed something with the leaves of the Solomon seal, they kind of have a shiny, film looking thing on there leaves and I noticed about the ones in the woods that on other plants the leaves were all eaten and chewed but the ss leaves we significantly less bothered and a bunch were completely unharmed including the taller, more grown ones. Would it be possible the Solomon seal have a film that￼ discourages bugs as an environmental adaptation? 🔎 (Also, have a safe flight ✈️! Enjoy your trip!)

I planted my raindrop peperomia prop in soil and it recently sprouted its first adorable Velveeta-shell-noodle leaf!!!  😍🥹

I just now discovered that my alocasia sarian is growing a new leaf!!!  🙌

@BJoyce these are the ones flowering now as far as gymnoclaycium.  The pink one is about to bloom again. Sometimes the flowers come out orange on it and change to pink

Don't set them out in full sun right away. I burnt mines by accident like that 😬 lost like 3 leaves. They have to be conditioned to the sun. 
Most would alocasia don't like full sun. Mines does fine but again,  I burnt it by accident at first. So use caution. A little bit at a time is best. 💚🌱

I’m a bit late, my dad had to have another surgery today, but I found new growth on my dying zebra Calathea and I received a free dogwood tree that I am going to try to thicken the trunk to bonsai and there is a little baby dogwood and I have a black velvet alocasia with new growth!

@PlantyPlanter Sometimes animals have to learn the hard way that a plant is toxic! It’s possible that it’s more concentrated in older leaves. You can definitely test something like this, but it would take some super expensive lab equipment!

Your observations so far have been pretty cool so I would just keep a close eye on it and keep taking notes!
