How is everyone this week?

🙌🏼  Gonna start today with a special shout-out to the #gregteam who has been pumping out amazing updates as fast as they can! In effort to maintain our momentum, the team is going to be taking next week to relax, spend time with family and friends, and recharge before we make the big push through the rest of the year. So if you notice it's a little quiet next week don't fret, we'll be back hungry and scrapping to go Monday, August 8!

My Mini Monstera has 5 new leaves coming in. Some you can see and some are so small that it makes it hard to see. My heartleaf philodendron and my orchid.

Morning! Happy #FreshLeafFriday

First up is a new big leaf on my old monstera that’s been struggling. I’m happy to see it was able to put a new leaf out.

Second up is a new leaf on my monstera pinnatipartita, which was also struggling and lost a leaf or two recently. Happy to see new growth here.

Next up is my rainbow anthurium out on the balcony that’s pushing out a new “flower”

The post I was waiting all week for! 😊🙈 Happy #FreshLeafFriday everybody! Last time only 1 pothos propagation opened a new leaf but now they’re ALL starting to grow! These were planted months ago so I was so excited! I’ve also noticed my tradescantia getting fuller and happier, my VFT has some weird looking but plenty of new growth, and lastly I wanted to share my mom’s ridiculous fiddle leaf fig that has unfurled its THIRD leaf this week! 😍

I’m busy working a 60 hour week, but my office plant I got from #plantproper is pushing out two new leaves!  Having it at work makes me feel better and helps me cope with stress.   I’m a pharmacist and my job is made of stress.  😅

Goodness where to start. Violet Femmes sneezed and her new flowers popped out like a squeeze toy. Jade’s Addiction has got new leaves all over the place, Eddie Money is about to become a floor tree, and Cool & The Gang are looking great as a family unit! (Figgy Pop apparently wants to take a break 🙄) 🌱🌱 Get that vaca, team!

@ManyLime don’t give up on us!! 😭 She’s still alive somewhere under the soil lol... maybe try bringing her inside because when mine was outside it looked kinda rough but it’s doing MUCH much better. 
I don’t know HOW that fiddle leaf is doing so well. She’s in a 14” mega pot and has mealybugs!! But I am so proud of for pushing through! we have another fiddle leaf fig that is also dormant so I guess it’s hit or miss with them 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m especially excited for my purple shamrock ☘️ it was huge and gorgeous late winter a lot of you saw when there was a daily contest of some kind.  Well it totally just withered a slow death shortly after and ended up just soil.  I was crushed.  Well after a conversation with @Kiersten To calm me down, I repotted the bulbs and worked on my patience and a few months later she’s sprouting a new leaf almost everyday now.  🥳 (the oxalis bulb is still not showing his face but I’m hopeful)

Happy Friday, fam! Excited for the Greg team to get some well deserved rest, then see what they’ve been cooking up for us! 
Getting settled in our new temp home and my crew is holding up well…new green on my OG ride or die, lots of little babies on the pep frost, and some new twins popping on the coffee. I have an outdoors-focused #FreshLeafFriday for y’all. Woke up this morning to a fresh new flower on my dragonfruit and some passionfruit. Also got some new outdoor plants this week: lantana, sea lavender, and gazenia to plant on my back hillside!

These are a few of my favorites freshies for Friday!

My Alocasia finally giving me some sign that it’s all good after losing quite a few leaves after changing it’s location.

Secondly my Chinese Elm also bouncing back after a bout of mite infestation.  The fresh leaves are just too cute. 🍃 🍃

My Giant taro still doing very well indoors so she of course gets a feature because her fresh leaves also looks majestic as she unfurls! Love this the most about her! 💚

Next up my Peru cutting is blossoming nicely - I propagated this from my mother plant and plan to gift this one eventually.  Clearly I’m doing something right here!  😛😛

Finally my Neon Philodendron - she’s giving me 3 new fresh leaves at once 😍😍 on one vine!! How awesome is that!!

@Kwanna haha well… I work in a retail pharmacy and all of it is stressful.  😅 Tbh pharmacy school itself was THE most stressful, but I’m currently trying to concentrate and not mess up anything while the phone rings literally nonstop, and I’m really needing my emotional support plants.  😂 You must be 100% accurate always, and you must be fast, and you must be polite while customers are rude to you, because it’s going to happen daily.  But I know there’s a lot of that in nursing too!

@Vinxy2  from what I’ve researched after getting this plant it is normal. Some people will cut them back to encourage more variegation.

Two rehab plants surprised me with new growth this week. Still not sure about the health of the orchid, but fresh growth is a good sign! Fresh new leaves on an orchid and a monstera are evidence once again that I did not kill it! Yet. 🤣🤣

Also, disregard the papertowel under the nursery pot. I swear she has nicer digs for when I'm sure she's strong enough and I don't need to keep checking her roots 🙃

@AC73LoveCats thanks for the heads up! Crazy how many popular garden plants are toxic. We planted these on our steep hillside but will have to keep an eye out with our dogs.
