Three new, wonderful plants for me! (#arecapalm #diffenbachia #prayerplant) Any clue on care or name Ideas? Also, I am wondering if I could pot them up in cactus soil.

Question

I bought Areca Palm, Diffebanchia, and a Green Prayer Plant. All of them are wonderful, but they are my first of their kind. I will need some care and ideas on names for all three of them. I believe all of them need repots because there are several offshoots inside, and there are roots poking out of the bottom. I am out of my usual mix. All I have is Miracle-Gro tropical soil (which I already know is garbage, and I will soon throw it out) and Black Gold Cactus Mix. Which one do you recommend out of the two?

Hi! Great new additions you know! I dont have a good idea about the prayer plant, but you could use coco coir or peat for the potting mix in the areca palm, you can mist the areca palm, cus they like high humidity, water every 5 days, but if you see the soil's drying up faster, then it might need a repot. But I think that's highly not possible, so yeah you can use the same potting mix for the dieffenbachia and water once the soil dries in the top 1 and a half - 2 inches. You'll do great!

Oh great! I bet you'll do awesome! How about you name the areca palm adriana? And the dieffenbachia Pete and the the prayer plant coco? I think they'd suit the plants!
