@RJG 🤗
Congrats to the featured plant parents!🙌
Heres my fresh FLOWER FRIDAY! 🤷‍♂️ 4 flowers at 1x on my heliamophora huberi!🤩 and a bunch if frsh leaves and aerials on that macrophylla hoya and a new pitcher on my heliamophora hetordexera x ionasi.
My cactus is about to bloom! Edit: oops sorry I read fresh flower Friday. 😂 however, cactus spines are just modified leaves, so here you go.
Better pic of it and the flower stalk
@LucidAgapanthus nice, it looks happy!
Do all cactus bloom?
@DaringColtsfoot most of them that you can buy usually do bloom eventually, however some bloom more often than others. However as Ms persnickety mentioned it also depends on other factors.
@TheConservator flowers count as leaves on Fridays. It's in the rules i made up for fresh leaf friday years ago
Happy #FreshLeafFriday !! My sad Croton is no longer sad and has started pushing out many happy leaves 🥰
Lots of beauties here!

Good to see you posting, Drew! How’s the family time been?
#FreshLeafFriday #FreshFeaturedFriday #GregGang #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy Here we are again, it seems as if this week just flew by. Happy Friyay everyone. This time around I, that is to say my plants have Blooms,fresh leaves and new growth. So let’s start with my all time favorite Orchid (my only one) it’s finally opening the 8th bloom. The Philodendron Black Cardinal is showing off its new leaf. And the Raven ZZ has both new growth and fresh leaves, that makes me Happy! Hope you all have a great upcoming weekend, stay safe, don’t do anything I couldn’t do on a bicycle 🤣🤣😱
@QuesaPróspera That is really looking great 👍
@TheConservator Your plants are enjoying their humidity shower!
@DaringColtsfoot No, not all cacti bloom. While many cactus species are known for their beautiful flowers, some cacti either bloom rarely or not at all. The ability to bloom can depend on factors like the specific cactus species, its age, environmental conditions, and proper care.
@RJG 🤗
My #MojitoElephantEar is showing off its newest leaf for #FreshLeafFriday . So proud of this baby that started with a leaf the size of my thumbnail in September, to a new one being 7 inches today!
@RJG - YOU’RE BACKKKK 🥰🥰

Sooo good to see you posting again!! I hope your time away with family was WONDERFUL!! We all missed you and we’re so happy you’re back ❤️❤️

My Cherry Fields Begonia is BLOOMING, my Easter cactus is BLOOMING, my Pink Splash Aglaonema is BLOOMING, and my Thai Con is giving me another leaf!!

SPRING IS HERE AND IT’S BLOOMING SEASON 🤩🤩
Can you tell 🤪
@JenniferNoel my gosh! Your plants are gorgeous! Love it ♥️💗
Yay. It's been a while, welcome back.
Lots of fresh green growth here, and some blooms in starting positions. The one I've noticed most recently and am awaiting with baited breath: my one and only cactus. Soon! 👀
@MusicalRedmint I love that cactus, so fluffy just like my Mammillaria Bocasana
That was the reason I got it, @LucidAgapanthus. When I got it it was covered in delicate pink blooms against that white deceptively flouffy looking bed of needles. Normally, cacti really aren't my thing, but I just couldn't resist. Yours looks amazing a well. I've looked at similar ones several times in the shop and was tempted.
Happy Fresh Leaf Friday everyone! Got a few things happening! New Silver Dragon 🐉🩶 unfurling, new one on Syngo Panda 🐼 as well, and a chonky new phal orchid leaf growing up ⬆️ 🙌. Have a wonderful weekend!!! #FreshLeafFriday #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #AlocasiaAddicts #SyngoniumSquad #OrchidLovers
Happy Friday!!! Everyone has such beautiful plant 🤩 Thanks for sharing. I have my largest leaf so far on my Monstera and 2 new leaves on my anthurium wendingeri. I’ve been gushing over them all week.
Welcome Back 💚 My silver sword philodendron has finally connected to the pole. It’s about to unfurl its third giant leaf 😁
@TheConservator thanks; very much appreciated!
@itsjordan it's been so good!
My Lobster Claw popped up some new limbs last week.
This is a first time bloom for me with this specific cactus!!! So exciting!! I can’t wait to see how she turns out!! I luv how soft that yellow is….🤤🤤🤤
@RJG a big welcome back to you! I hope your family is doing well. I didn’t take any #FreshLeafFriday photos per se but I did get 4 new baby Philos today! The Micans has a new leaf shoot so I guess that counts. They were packed pretty poorly so they are in rough shape but I do love them. I got 2 inch starters in the Birkin, pink princess, white wizard (or white princess ?and of course Micans). They are just too cute☺️. I’m hoping that since I bought them as babies, I’ll have better luck helping them grow big and strong. 💪🏻 stay tuned! Great to have you back and congratulations to all those featured. Such an amazing display of beautiful plants. Happy birthday again @DrGreen and @Taylor702 wow,🤩 what an awesome leaf!
@RJG Thank You
What a difference a night makes...8to10 little hours...🎶🎵
@RJG thanks for the praise of Fred, I just ordered a little table for him to bring him up a bit in height. I’ll add some pics when it gets here, hopefully I’ll actually like it. I am on my way to go buy my first Venus fly trap at the shop, so excited!
@MusicalRedmint soooo pretty!
@TRose that Monstera 😍
Thank you soo much @Ms.Persnickety
I consider you one of the Preeminent Advisors in here..and I will seek you out from time to time..Idk if it's your name, but other than that your posts and answers are very concise and particular
Thank you again Ms P!
Maybe you may grace us with a picture of one of your children one day.
@Ms.Persnickety as I envisioned your Plants look perfect, like magazine covers for Plant Digest! Thank you for the beautiful Pics!
@DaringColtsfoot Hi LC, nice of you to say so. But I am actually just another plant fanatic and I do enjoy sharing as much info as I can. Specifically with new members and new plant „parents“. Or anyone unfamiliar with certain plants. As far as the name goes it started as a joke. My BIL named me Ms. PersnicketyPants it totally cracked me up. I decided to adopt it but I had to take the pants off (shorten) it was simply too long. But I would like to follow you if that’s alright with you?
Well, that's me . All of my plants I have bought or received only since October! And everyone is still alive and thriving! So far iam proud of just that! Thanks EVERYONE who has contributed to my success so far!!❤️
And I purposely didn't pick only "easy care plants" because iam so passionate about this. (Just like when I had an exotic pet collection),Didn't expect to enjoy this soo much!
The growth of my succulents are amazing to me. Here is just one of them.
@UltraKoreanfir Hi @RJG it's been a while since (what the succ) and (fresh leaf friday) stopped what happened also here's a few months of new growth from my pink princess philodendron, norfolk island pine, and my alocasia black velvet showing it's first flower and its first blooming still hasn't open yet.
@UpfrontDisphyma my wife had a baby so I took paternity leave from all work!
@RJG Congratulations on your new baby! Hope everyone is doing well. We just had a new granddaughter arrive a couple weeks ago.
@thenonnon is that a kind of succulent? Or what is it?
@RJG That's great when i get married i wish to have 4 to 6 kids i'm just hoping the woman i married with agrees with that.👫🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👶👶👶👶❤️❤️❤️
@UpfrontDisphyma I wish you all the luck in the world
@RJG Thank you i appreciate it.😊👍❤️
@DaringColtsfoot Age is a factor on blooming, for sure. Golden Barrel don't produce flowers until, like, 15 years old. But then you have this other species in a 3" pot doing this. 🙃
@PioneerRutabaga That flower is so dope.
@daringcoltsfoot Cheiridopsis candidissima (I had to look it up) or Lobster Claw. Yah, it's a succulent. It gets really showy flowers (image of flowers not mine). There are versions on versions of the "leaf splits, new leaf eats old leaf" in S. Africa. I want them all.
@Ms.Persnickety I would be honored to have you follow me Dear!
@MusicalRedmint love this baby, I’ll have to buy soon. I love the little flowers on it.
Wow! Wholesome plants this week! I'm back from 2 weeks holidays so the leaves of my plants are not really fresh 🥲, but no one died and they're slowly but surely coming back to they're colours so 'hope next week I can show them to public! Wery beautiful plants everyone! Thanks for sharing!
Oh, 17 days ago, ok maybe it's a bit too late
