What type of soil should I use?

I have a bunch of Madagascar Jewel Euphorbia I started from seeds that a friend gave me. She also gave me a baby that sprouted from her plant. The baby has barely grown, but the seedlings are growing like crazy and are ready for a real pot. The seedlings love the seed starting stuff (it was the little Jiffy pellets in the plastic tray with a dome). The baby doesn’t seem to like the soil they it came to me in. What is the correct soil for Madagascar Jewel Euphorbia? I’m much more familiar with succulent Euphorbia and I don’t know anything about the leafy types. #MadagascarJewel #Euphorbia
Apparently it wants something that holds more moisture. Those Jiffy pellets are mostly a loamy type of substrate. Probably a regular potting soil would do the trick when you pot them up as long as it has 'some' perlite for drainage. You could always just put a bunch of Jiffy pellets together. πŸ€”
@PurpleSucculent for something this exotic I would say you gotta go high end β€”Bonsai Jacks Gritty mix is unparalleled. I have used it for the euphorbias that I think endured not by happenstance
@TexanExpat Wowzers, those look amazing! So tell me about leafy euphorbia. I’ve never had one before, I’ve only got baseball, snowflake, etc.
